News Libya Dollar: Central Bank plans to cancel commodity tax and set unified dollar exchange rate
A source at the Central Bank of Libya said the bank intends to begin implementing the decision issued by the Speaker of the House of Representatives to cancel the tax imposed on goods, with the exchange rate set at 6.37 dinars per US dollar for all purposes, including personal expenses, education, and medical treatment.
